The Meaning of Ramadan:
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, and it marks the month when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). It is a time for self-reflection, spiritual growth, and increased devotion to Allah.

The Sighting of the Moon:
Ramadan begins with the sighting of the new moon. Muslims eagerly await the confirmation of the crescent moon, signaling the start of the holy month. It's a moment of anticipation and excitement for the upcoming days of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

Fasting as a Pillar of Islam:

The culmination of Ramadan is marked by Eid al-Fitr, a festive day of celebration. It begins with a special prayer, and then families come together to enjoy festive meals. Exchanging gifts and acts of kindness are common during this joyful occasion.
